This prussian eagle, with a span of 5 meters, was attached between the cathedral towers in the 19th century.

The cathedral-stonemasons are very imaginative and modern. A figure with mobile phone will find it's place at the cathedral later.

Cracks in the walls. One of this cracks was caused by the blasting of the Hohenzollernbridge on March 06, 1945, when German troops tried to stop the american advance in Cologne at the end of WWII
